The role of a ROSS Service Coordinator serves essentially as a liaison between HHA Residents
and the programs or organizations available to serve them. A successful program depends grealy on open,
honest communication between the ROSS Service Coordinator(RSC), site manager, and the residents
of a particular community.
The RSC not only supplies information to address your current needs, but also provides direction as you plan for the future. They will assist the resident to establish goals, identify the barriers to success, and match them to programs and services available to overcome such barriers. Through this process, the resident becomes equipped to accomplish goals such as building personal assets (i.e. additional education) and training for a better job.
